One person is dead after a weekend shooting in Spartanburg. Officers with the Spartanburg Police Department responded to the area of Wofford Street around 5AM, Sunday.
The 9-1-1 caller told dispatchers two men were fighting and it escalated to one of them being shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The victim has been identified as 36 year old, Tyson Hall. Police say the suspect fled the area in a vehicle. No arrests have been announced, as of this time.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with info on the shooting is urged to contact the Spartanburg Police Department at 596-2065.
