
One person is injured and another is in custody after a stabbing at an Upstate home, Monday afternoon. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Hill Lane in Mauldin, around 12:30PM.
Upon arrival, deputies found the victim suffering from a stab wound. The suspect 50 year old, Shelina Yeargin was found nearby and was taken into custody. The victim was taken to the hospital.
Investigators say, Yeargin knew the victim and stabbed them after breaking into multiple houses in the neighborhood.
Yeargin is charged with attempted murder, 1st and 2nd degree burglary and a weapons violation.
