One person is dead after being hit by a train in the Upstate over the weekend. The Pickens County Coroner's Office responded to the area of Highway 93 and Belgian Horse Lane around 330, Saturday afternoon.
The Coroner's Office says 21 year old, Carter Adams of Liberty was walking on the tracks and was hit. Adams was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
