A house fire in Anderson County, early Wednesday morning left one person dead. The Anderson County Coroner's Office has confirmed that one person died in the fire on Shady Grove Road near Cleveland Road just outside of Honea Path.
One person was able to escape the blaze that completely gutted the home. The victim has been identified as 47 year old, Angela Dawn McCoy. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
