A police pursuit in the Upstate over the weekend ended without a suspect in custody. The chase was called off after the driver of a stolen vehicle collided with another vehicle. The Travelers Rest Police Department says they spotted a stolen vehicle Saturday on Highway 25 near Roe Ford Road.
Officers tried to make a traffic stop and the suspect driver refused to stop and ended up crashing into another vehicle at an intersection. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The suspect fled on foot and a search involving K-9 units and drones ensued. After not spotting the suspect, the search was called off around 7PM, Saturday night.
Police have not released the identity of the suspect, but they say they have solid leads in the case.
