An Upstate solicitor is part of an investigation following a shooting shooting. The South Carolina Law Enforcement or SLED has announced that Oconee County Deputy Solicitor Jason Alderman is part of the investigation. The investigation comes after a shots fired incident Monday on Damascus Church Road in the Long Creek area of Oconee County. Oconee County Sheriff Mike Crenshaw requested the SLED investigation. WSPA is reporting that the case report from the Sheriff's Office listed Alderman as the suspect.
