A suspect is facing charges after a sexual assault in Western North Carolina, earlier this month. The Asheville Police Department began investigating after a reported sexual assault on Bartlett Street, April 11th.
Investigators say, video footage and license plate readers helped identify the suspect as 62 year old, Louie Willard Perry Jr. He was arrested about a week later in Madison County.
Perry is charged with 2nd degree rape and is being held without bond in Buncombe County.
