A murder suspect is now in custody after a fatal shooting in Greenville County Friday morning. The Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting around 345 AM at a home on Manhattan Boulevard in Piedmont.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Greenville County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as, 22 year old Fidel Arzate Martinez.
The Sheriff's Office says, 38 year old Dennis Rodney Ferguson has been arrested and charged with murder and a weapons violation, following the incident.
Investigators say, the two men were neighbors and a dispute between them led up to the shooting.
