A shooting and SWAT standoff in Greenwood County, Wednesday night ended with the suspect in custody. The Greenwood County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Smith Street Extension near Ware Shoals, around 7PM.
Deputies arrived and heard a gunshot and saw the victim fall to the ground. SWAT was then called to the scene. The suspect 64 year old, Danny Doolittle surrendered peacefully.
He's charged with attempted murder and a weapons violation.
