
A weekend standoff in the Upstate ended with a domestic violence suspect in custody.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic incident at a home on Samuel Camp Road, just after 12AM Saturday.
Upon arrival, the suspect Nicholas Earl Wells barricaded himself inside the home. SWAT was called to the scene and Wells was eventually taken into custody.
He's charged with domestic violence, presenting a gun, resisting arrest and assault. Wells also was wanted on outstanding warrants.
