The Anderson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that took place at the Frankische plant in Anderson County Tuesday night. Anderson County Sheriff Chad McBride told reporters at a press conference, that deputies responded to a call of a shooter in the plant, about thirty people were working there when the incident began.
Sheriff McBride said two employees were wounded but both survived. One of the two victims was said to be in critical condition Wednesday morning. McBride also said the shooter turned the gun on himself, taking his own life. Authorities believe the suspect was a disgruntled former employee at the plant.
