A U.S. Congressman from the Upstate has garnered more high profile endorsements in his re-election campaign. 4th District Incumbent William Timmons is now being backed by Governor Henry McMaster and Lt. Governor Pam Evette.
Timmons has already been endorsed by Former President Donald Trump. Timmons will face off with challenger Adam Morgan in the 4th District Republican Primary June 11th.
Morgan is the Chairman of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus and has been endorsed by Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis and Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz.
Whoever wins the Republican nomination will face three challengers already on the ballot for November's general election. Those three are Democrat Kathryn Harvey, Constitution Party Candidate Mark Hackett and Dennis Gillan who's running as an Independent.
