One person is dead and two others are injured following a crash Tuesday night. The wreck happened just after 10 PM on Old Williamston Road, less than a mile from Piedmont.
The Highway Patrol says , 49 year old Candace G. Landreth of Piedmont ran off the road , hitting multiple mailboxes and a tree. Two passengers in the vehicle were injured in the crash. The accident report says, Landreth was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash is still under investigation.
