Two teenagers are facing charges after causing a panic at the Upstate's largest mall, this past weekend.
The Greenville Police Department says that two juveniles are charged with aggravated breach of peace after they popped balloons inside the Haywood Mall.
An officer stationed there reported that people were running to exit the mall just after 6 PM, Saturday night, as mall-goers thought that shots were being fired.
It turns out that what sounded like gunshots were actually a 13 year old and a 15 year old popping balloons. Police say no shots were fired in the incident. The names of the two teens have not been released due to them being minors.
