An Assistant Solicitor in the Upstate has been charged after an incident over the Holidays.
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says 41 year old Jason Alderman who works in the 10th Circuit Solicitors Office was arrested for disorderly conduct. Alderman works in the 10th Circuit Solicitors Office.
Deputies say they responded to a reported fight at an establishment in the Long Creek Community on Christmas Eve. The Sheriff's Office says Alderman had injuries consistent with a fight and had an open container in his vehicle. He was then taken into custody.
This is the 2nd time in the last three years that Alderman has made headlines. As we previously reported he was been part of a SLED investigation into a shots fired incident in 2022. Alderman was not charged in that investigation.
