There's been much talk lately about crackdowns on the selling of THC based products at local vape shops. Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis warned merchants of the coming raids in a press conference, earlier this month. Our resident legal expert Attorney Rob Ianuario explains why.
Just days after Sheriff Lewis held his press conference, arrests were seen at four vape shops in Greenville County. Ianuario says that, in many cases, shop owners are confused now about what is and isn't legal. Ianuario also says there's been inconsistencies with what products are within the legal THC limit.
The stringent focus from law enforcement on THC based products comes as state legislators continue to debate medical marijuana. You can hear Ianuario's comments below.
