An Upstate man is in custody on child sex crime charges. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says the SWAT team members were called to a home on Gordon Street in Greenville to serve warrants on 34 year old, Mark Linton Roberts.
An arrest warrant says back in November, investigators were told by a child victim that Roberts coerced her to do inappropriate sex acts at his house, multiple times.
The warrant also stated that the mother of the victim said Roberts provided the child with marijuana and vape pens. Roberts is charged with 3 counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and other charges. The Sheriff's Office says the victim is between 11 and 14 years old.
