An Upstate police officer has been charged with DUI after a weekend wreck. The crash happened on Davis Road in Spartanburg County around 2AM, Sunday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the driver of a pick up truck ran off the road, hit a tree and overturned. The driver Jayon Quattlebaum, an officer with the Spartanburg Police Department was charged with DUI and was arrested at the scene.
He was said to be off-duty and driving his personal vehicle when the crash occurred.
