An Upstate teenager is wanted following a weekend shooting that left four other teens injured. As we previously reported, the Union County Sheriff's Office responded to a noise complaint on Bob Adams Road in Union, around 11 PM Saturday night.
When deputies arrived they found a party going on, they then shut the party down and as the crowd was leaving shots rang out.
Four people were shot in total. A 19 year old male, was shot three times in the arm. An 18 year old female was shot in the leg, an 18 year old male was shot in the chest and was airlifted to the hospital. A 17 year old girl had shattered glass embedded in her skin, from shots hitting the windshield of a car.
All four victims were transported to the hospital. Three have since been released, the victim who was shot in the chest is still in the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
Investigators have honed in on a suspect, but his identity is being withheld due to his age. The Sheriff's Office did say, the 16 year old suspect from the Anderson area is wanted on charges of attempted murder, property damage and a weapons violation.
