Laurens County authorities have now identified the body of a gunshot victim found on Highway 101 North in Gray Court, Wednesday.
The Laurens County Sheriff's Office says That section of the highway was closed for a time Wednesday afternoon while deputies investigated.
The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 45 year old, Eric Wayne Elder. The shooting remains under investigation. No arrests have been made, as of the time of this report.
