The identity of the woman who shot to death in a murder-suicide has now been released. As we previously reported, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Bergen Lane in Simpsonville, Monday morning.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man and woman both dead from gunshot wounds. The coroner's office says 40 year old, Ryan W. Nightingale fatally shot himself after shooting the victim multiple times.
They have now identified the woman as 43 year old Kathrine Cupples . The coroner's report says Cupples was shot multiple times, her death has been ruled a homicide.
