A Western North Carolina man is facing charges after he reportedly assaulted a deputy and harassed church-goers.
The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded Sunday morning to a report that a man was harassing people at a church prior to and during a service.
Deputies say when they responded the suspect, James Zoll assaulted a Deputy. Zoll was taken into custody. He's charged with assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and trespassing.
