A North Carolina man has pleaded guilty after he shot at deputies during a standoff, nine years ago. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office says 58 year old, Kevin Marks shot and injured a deputy during an incident on August 4th, 2014.
Marks was reportedly high on meth and had refused to come out his Forest City home. Marks recently pled guilty to an attempted murder charge. He faces a minimum of 16 years in prison with a possible max sentence of 20 years.
