A Western North Carolina woman is facing charges for allegedly practicing medicine without a license. After an investigation that began last year, Priscilla Ann Hendrix was arrested last week in Buncombe County. The Sheriff's Office there says they received a complaint against Hendrix and the investigation was launched.
Investigators got assistance from the North Carolina Medical Board. Hendrix was arrested during a traffic stop after the investigation prompted her to be charged with practicing medicine without a license and obtaining goods under false pretenses.
