An Upstate woman is facing charges after deputies say, she intentionally walked into traffic with her child. The incident happened late last week, the Laurens County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a child hit by a vehicle on Highway 76 near Rabon Road.
Samantha Carol Towler was arrested following the incident. The Sheriff's Office says, she led her child as they walked into the flow of traffic. Towler is charged with with inflicting great bodily injury on a child.
