Despite many craving to be outside like old times and by old times, we mean life pre-pandemic, some don't share the same excitement. There are several people who felt more comfortable with enforced COVID protocols in place like social distancing, wearing masks and only leaving the house when it was absolutely necessary.

As a celebrity, we're sure all of this is heightened, especially with the pressure to attend social events and paparazzi trailing you during the worst of times.

SZA, who was nominated for Top R&B Female Artist and performed alongside Doja Cat at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, revealed on Instagram that her anxiety almost kept her from stealing the show.

Looking absolutely stunning in a two-tone wig and cutout black dress, she writes, "I hate being outside more than I can explain. I really have debilitating anxiety and I’m only posting these cause Y’all woulda found em anyway. Thank you to my team n my mama. Least I’m alive."

This isn't the first time the CTRL singer opened up about her anxiety on social media. When questioned about why it seemed that all celebrities were battling anxiety all of a sudden, SZA responded, "'Celebs' been out here dying of addiction and depression for DECADES. Be glad Ppl are TALKING to each other and sharing rather than hiding..."
