When they say everything is bigger in Texas, they mean it. Now, the Lone Star state has proved that slogan to be true once again, landing the top spot on a list about consuming alcohol. According to the map that recently went viral, Texans need more alcohol to feel tipsy than any other state.
No one wants to be described as a lightweight when it comes to drinking alcohol. Luckily that isn’t a problem in Texas, as a new study conducted by Upgraded Points shows that Texans need an average of 5.17 beers before feeling tipsy; far more than any other state. According to Brobible, the average number of beers before feeling tipsy for most was 3.49.
The biggest lightweights in the country come from Oregon according to the viral map. Many throughout the country tried disputing these numbers, but in the end numbers never lie. Once again, Texas has proven to be the best at everything they do.
