Meek Mill Reveals He May Have Had Coronavirus

The rapper reveals he was sick in December

As COVID-19 concerns swarm the globe and people do their best to remain healthy, Meek Mill revealed that he may have already suffered through the contagious virus.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the 32-year-old rapper recalled the time when he fell ill around the end of the 2019 holiday season.

"I was extremely sick in December around christmas time with flu like symptoms... everyday I said to myself a older person cannot survive this!" he wrote. "I lost like 15 pounds and could barely move! I never been that sick.. a doctor never told me what it was."

Meek didn't share any additional details, but what he did share was enough for fans to speculate that he was infected with COVID-19 before it became a worldwide pandemic. His post even prompted others to reevaluate their past illnesses and whether or not they suffered through the same thing.

One user replied that they had a similar experience in January.

"I had the same symptoms as COVID19 and had a chest X-ray. Negative tests for strep and the flu. They told me it was bronchitis but my symptoms pointed to the flu. Had a fever 103 for a few days, coughing, fatigue aches and pains," the post explained. "They wasn’t telling us then it was rona," the user added.

Another shared, "I went through the same thing in February after a trip to Cancun and tested negative for the FLU and Strep. I had aches, fever, deep cough and could barely move. My cough has lasted 4 weeks, last week went back to the Dr. and now they’re saying I have bronchitis!"
