Before You Tweet at Meghan Markle and the Royal Family, Follow These Palace Guidelines


If you’re thinking of tweeting at the Royal Family, you’ll have to follow strict new protocols.

Anyone wishing to engage with the Royal Family, Clarence House and Kensington Palace will have to abide by these rules to help create a safe environment, they say

According to the guidelines, social media comments cannot “contain spam, be defamatory of any person, deceive others, be obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful, inflammatory or promote sexually explicit material or violence.”

Comments must also be on topic and not be discriminatory.

You can get your comment deleted and even get blocked by the royals

So, before you try to troll Meghan Markle or Kate Middleton, you might want to think twice.
