At just one-week-old, this adorable baby rhino is proving you’re never too young to learn to play. The Eastern black rhino calf was born late last month, and the youngster is already getting to see the world alongside mom, Malindi.
Chester Zoo staff say he’s a ball of energy and that he spent an hour running around and rolling in the sand, before getting tuckered out and going for a nap. The new calf is the eleventh Eastern black rhino to be born at the British zoo in the last 20 years.
Soon the zoo will pick a name to perfectly fit the little guy’s lively spirit.
