When sick kids have to stay in the hospital and aren’t able to go to the zoo, the zoo comes to them!
The San Diego Zoo's kids closed-circuit TV channel is bringing exotic animals right into the patients’ rooms at Cohen Children's Medical Center.
Some kids even get to interact with crazy creatures like a kinkajou, an african crested porcupine, and a cockatoo.
The new channel will show animal programming and tell stories from zoos and aquariums all across the country, making for a wild and fun time for these well deserving kids.
