During his original “River” tour in 1981, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played 140 concerts in just about one year’s time. 6 of those concerts were on his home turf- and they were the first events held at what was then the brand new Brendan Byrne Arena at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
On the next Live in Concert, we’ll listen to the 6th and final night of that run- it was a legendary performance captured live on July 9th, 1981.
