In a tweet, Baio shared an image from Fox News showing a headline that said "Taliban 'Kill' Squads Hunt Down U.S. Allies," adding, "Where are you now @pattonoswalt @alyssa_milano @robreiner @richardmarx and others in Hollywood. This is your guy! Where are you now? I'm praying for our military that was killed and those left behind because of your guy. P.S. Trump has nothing to do with this."
Never shy from a good call-out, Marx responded directly to Baio saying, "The s***show in Afghanistan has lots of multi-administration blame to go around. When your racist draft-dodging hero was calling our own military servicemen and women 'losers and suckers' where the f*** were you? You disingenuous rapey little twerp."
Baio responded, starting off calling Marx "Dick," and then defending the former President. Baio also questioned Marx's "rapey" comment, saying "Rapey"? I've never raped or assaulted anyone. (Accusations, that were proven wrong, are not facts) You're the barely 5'3 lil man that allegedly f***ed another woman while being married, s***head! Your 4 inch feathered hair didn't fool anyone lil guy." Again, Marx responded with more name-calling, and questions about the allegations raised against Baio of child abuse and sexual harassment.
Marx then got back to business, answering Baio's original question of where he and "others in Hollywood" are amid the Afghanistan withdrawal, revealing he has been "tending to a family tragedy," while Baio has been "tweeting Fox propaganda."
Baio ended the fracas with Marx by calling him an "angry lil troll," but there's more. In the midst of his thumb war, Baio managed to fire off a separate salvo across Alyssa Milano's bow. In response to her tweet saying she "stands" with Biden during this time of struggle, Baio asked if she would "'stand' in place of our military and civilians @JoeBiden left behind!"
As for comedian Patton Oswalt and famed director Rob Reiner, both of whom were also called out in Baio's original tweet, they seem to be staying away from addressing the Charles In Charge star directly, opting for retweets and careful words of optimism respectively.
