A man in his 60's started deteriorating with Coronavirus symptoms and the doctors put him on a ventilator at a French hospital. For some reason the man had an erection that wouldn't go away for four hours.
What was it? Well, it turns out the doctors ended up having to use needles to remove blood clots that were causing his condition.
He had been in the intensive care unit for two weeks with a dry cough, difficult breathing, and fever. Coronavirus is actually known in some people to cause blood clots.
"The clinical and laboratory presentation in our patient strongly suggests priapism related to SARS-CoV-2 infection.” the doctors said.
Doctors found a way to remove the blood clots in his penis, and the man is now okay.
