A bunch of Sex Offenders in Butts County...yes Butts County...Georgia are suing the Sherriffs office because they had the gall to post "No Trick or Treat" signs in their yards.
The Sheriff is obviously using these signs to keep children and people in general safe. Sex offenders are stating that this is a violation of their free speech and privacy.
One of the sex offenders lawyers stated, "I'm just not sure that this kind of action makes your kids any safer. It just makes your constitutional rights less safe." He also added, “They are individuals who have been brave enough to not be afraid to let the public know that they are registered sex offenders, but are also not willing to tolerate this unlawful action by the sheriff.
