A German Court has ruled that a hangover is 'an illness', though whether or not your boss respects German laws, I don't know.
They didn't just make this ruling for a reason you might expect, like someone suing their employer. Instead, the ruling was made because a company was selling 'hangover cures' in the form of drinks and powders, but didn't really have any science behind it. So the court was like, 'Nah, you can't say that. Hangovers are a legitimate illness so that's false advertising."
Surely unrelated, Oktoberfest is about to kick off in Germany...
