Repeat after me. "Go to college. Get a degree. Get a great job." This is the lie that has been told to each and every millenial as a rite of passage. How are we supposed to focus on our lives and careers when we're being blamed for destroying everything from the vacation market, housing market and doorbell market. We did what we were told. We went to college. And now we're just tryin' to get throug that 9 to 5 long enough to pay off our massive student loans and maybe live in a van someday - the true dream.
I personally don't regret my decision, but many graduates do...
1. Humanities majors, which includes history, languages, English, philosophy, and religion.
2. Physical and life sciences majors, which includes astronomy, chemistry, and biology.
3. Social sciences majors, which includes things like economics, political science, psychology, and sociology.
4. Education majors.
5. Communications majors.
The people who were least likely to regret their majors are people who studied computer science, engineering, and math.
