This weekend saw protests, unrest and frustration mount in cities all across the country in an immediate response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Citing incidents where protestors blocked part of SR 408 and are alleged to have thrown rocks, bottles and concrete at police officers and the officers used tear gas, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer have enacted a curfew from 10pm until 5am effective immediately, and until further notice.
