Yesterday I was thrilled that the beaches up by my house in St. Augustine were still open. In fact I was planning for a trip to get some Sunday sun and salt air today.
But then people got in the way.
On Saturday, so many people went to the beach that the county decided to shut them down.
So I guess I'll be sunbathing in my backyard.
Here's a list of the beaches that are closed so far, according to Wearetv. (List is up to date at this moment but probably not for long).
St. John's County
All Eglin beach property located on Okaloosa Island is closed
All beaches and many businesses in Palm Beach County are closing until the end of the month.
