On August 19th, 2016, a Florida Man, Reza Baluchi, had to be rescued by the Coast Guard AGAIN after his third attempt to reach Bermuda in a giant homemade bubble.
That's right - a bubble. Well, actually you could call it a watertight hamster wheel as well. Either way, it was a stupid stunt.
Baluchi had previously tried to make the trip in 2014, and again in April, but had to be rescued both times. The Coast Guard estimated that just one of his rescues cost the tax payers over 140k, according to HuffPost.com.
