With National Suicide Prevention Week currently underway (Sept. 5-11), Google chose to honor Avicii with a video "doodle" created along with artist Alyssa Winans set to his smash hit "Wake Me Up," featuring singer Aloe Blacc and Incubus' Mike Einziger, from his 2013 album, True.

Back in May of 2021, Avicii's hometown of Stockholm, Sweden took steps to ensure the artist has a permanent physical representation, renaming the famed Ericsson Globe to the Avicii Arena in honor of the late musician. “Avicii Arena becomes a symbol and meeting place for an initiative focused on young people's mental health,” a statement from Avicii’s team said in making the announcement.

Audacy's I’m Listening initiative aims to encourage those who are dealing with mental health issues to understand they are not alone. If you or anyone you know is struggling with depression or anxiety, know that someone is always there. Additionally, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-273-8255.
