DJ Khaled is here to drop his endlessly effervescent wisdom when it comes to how we approach our self-esteem and self-worth. The I’m Listening 2020 class member tells us that his “we the best” mantra is so much more complex than a simple self-serving statement. Khaled explains, “I’m not saying I’m the best, I’m saying we the best… you should wake up every morning saying ‘we the best!’”

The iconic producer delves deeper and tells us, “that's what, you know, I tell my team and myself everyday… let's embrace these blessings, let's be great but grateful. Nobody can’t tell you that you’re not the best.”

DJ Khaled, who is not only known for is masterful production, is also beloved for his “Keys to Success” daily affirmations. The musical genius has been a constant beacon of positivity in the Hip Hop and Pop scene. While the powerhouse who popularized the phrase “anotha one” often shows off his flashy lifestyle, DJ Khaled never forgets to be kind to himself, and in turn, inspires others to be kind to themselves.
