Study finds 78% of Texans are tired of "influencer clickbait titles" and misleading headlines

In the age of the internet, you always have to take everything you read online with a grain of salt.

You have no idea what information is being fabricated or intentionally misleading in order to garner clicks on a website.


This has become a huge problem with the rise of Influencer culture, and the majority of Texans are sick of it.

A new study from Podcastle found that 78% of Texans are tired of Influencers posting "clickbait titles" or misleading headlines.  Further, 66% are tired of content that feels "inauthentic or staged," and 60% are tired of "excessive brand partnerships."

The study also found that 84% of Texans will unfollow influencer if their content "lacks substance or value."
