The age of going to a theater to see a movie is quickly dying.

Alamo Drafthouse has closed all of its locations in DFW after the company filed for bankruptcy.

As of Thursday, the locations in Las Colinas, Richardson, Lake Highlands, Dallas, and Denton, along with an Alamo in Woodbury, Minnesota all closed its doors.

The company said in a press release per WFAA, “We are deeply saddened to find it necessary to take this step. We are grateful to all our employees who put in the work, day in and day out to produce a special movie-going experience and to our many loyal customers for whom it was a pleasure to provide such a special experience.”
