All state parks in Texas to offer free admission on “Texas State Parks Day” Sunday, November 2

If anybody has advised you need to go out and “touch grass” recently, or if you’re just in need of some of the natural beauty in the Lone Star State, Sunday, November 2 is “Texas State Parks Day.”

As such, per CultureMap Dallas, all state parks in Texas will be offering free admission to any of the Lone Star State’s 85 state parks!

Around North Texas, you can enjoy free admission on November 2 to:

-Cedar Hill State Park
-Dinosaur Valley State Park, Glen Rose
-Cleburne State Park
-Meridian State Park
-Lake Whitney State Park
-Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway
-Fort Richardson State Park, Historic Site and Lost Creek Reservoir State Trailway
-Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Pilot Point
-Lake Tawakoni State Park, Wills Point
-Purtis Creek State Park, Eustace

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reserving “Save The Day” passes to guarantee entry to the park they want to visit.
