Over the years, there have been many movies made about Texas. Whether it's about the history of the Lone Star state, or simply used as the setting, Texans will always give it a chance. Now, the latest film to use Texas in the plot comes from 'The Office' actor BJ Novak, who recently celebrated his directorial debut with a trip to Texas complete with a visit to The Alamo and Buc-ee's.
Over the weekend, actor BJ Novak shared photos on social media from his recent trip to Texas. "I had an incredible visit to the @officialalamo. I even got to hold Santa Ana's sword and ride Pee Wee Herman's bike," Novak said in his now viral post. According to Chron, the photos included shots of the actor outside The Alamo, and another of the iconic Buc-ee's sign.
Novak was in town to promote his new film, 'Vengeance,' which is about a man who travels to west Texas to investigate the death of a woman he had been dating. Novak's film premieres on July 28th. Hopefully it joins the long list of classic films set in Texas.
