It seems over the last few years; just about every film fans have demanded a sequel for has actually been brought back to the big screen. Now, one film no one expected to see a sequel of is joining the reboot movement as well. Queen’s Brian May recently revealed the band is “looking at ideas” for a potential ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ sequel.
Thanks to 2018’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ Queen has had resurgence in popularity over the last few years. Still, many fans were surprised recently when Queen guitarist Brian May said there have been discussions about a potential sequel to ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ According to NME, when asked about a potential sequel during an Instagram Live session, May said “We are looking at it. Yeah, we have been looking at ideas.”
Many fans were confused about what part of the band’s career the film would cover, as the first film featured the band’s rise all the way through their iconic Live Aid set, before the passing of lead singer Freddie Mercury. Still, some were intrigued at the idea of a follow up film. For Queen fans, more stories about the band would definitely be welcomed.
