That's why when one drummer recently got married, she knew she better have a drum kit waiting for her at the reception. Video of the drumming bride's performance on her big day recently went viral, and now many are hoping wedding drum solos become a thing.
Every bride wants their wedding to be special and different, and Sharon-Rose Ransom definitely achieved that thanks to her "first drum solo." Ransom is a professional drum teacher and had her wedding dress altered to be able to better play the drums while wearing it. According to Ransom; "music has always been a huge part" of her relationship with her husband.
The couple actually got married in 2019, but the video just recently went viral. However, this is not Ransom's first taste of stardom, as according to Loudwire, the drummer was recently tapped to star in a Canadian tourism video. Hopefully this will inspire more bride drummers to show off their skills.
