When you're road tripping through Texas you pray your destination takes you nearby a Buc-ee's. You know you're going to stop for a visit anyway, so it just helps save time if one is just on the way.
However, it doesn't appear that Buc-ee's has the same appeal nationwide as it does in the Lone Star State, as the chain ranked at the bottom of two lists that determined the best gas stations in the U.S.
The first sought to find the ten best gas station brands. Buc-ee's was tenth.
The second ranked the ten best gas stations for food. Once again, Buc-ee's was tenth.
Per MySA.com, though Buc-ee's was nominated for its "immaculate restrooms and massive snack selection," it lost to Kwik Trip for the best gas station brand and to a Maryland-based chain called Royal Farms for the best gas station food.
