The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony took place over the weekend, and while the night was full of surprises, one of the biggest shockers to the audience was seeing Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl hit the stage with Lionel Richie. The two performed the Commodores’ hit ‘Easy,’ with Grohl taking over the song’s guitar solo. Now, the video has been released for fans to enjoy ahead of the show’s broadcast, and many fans were left wanting more.
On Saturday, Dave Grohl once again showed off his musical range by taking on the Commodores’ 1977 hit ‘Easy.’ According to Guitar World, the beginning of the performance was mostly guitarless, until Richie told Grohl “to play the ukulele” as the Foo Fighters’ frontman took over the songs guitar solo. Not only was the crowd into it, but Richie as well who cheered Grohl on with some finger-pointing and air guitar.

Richie even honored Grohl after the performance on social media saying, “My brother Dave Grohl you brought the heat.” The entire Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony will air on HBO later this month. However, it may be hard to top this performance.
